A federal judge once compared immigration law to "King Minos'
labyrinth in ancient Crete." Our immigration group, the largest in
the Northwest, guides clients through this labyrinth. We handle
cases for individuals, families, local businesses and multinational corporations.
We represent some of the world's largest companies in computer
software, banking, forest products and electronics and several biotechnology
companies and international trading firms.
Our practice includes securing all types of nonimmigrant and
immigrant visas as well as labor certifications, preference
status leading to permanent residence, and naturalizations. We have extensive
experience in dealing with federal immigration agencies and with U.S. consulates throughout the
world. We
also represent clients in removal (deportation and exclusion) proceedings, in
administrative appeals and
in federal court. We have an experienced and flexible
support staff of paralegals and legal assistants, and we use
case-processing technology, enabling us to handle a large volume
of matters including complex cases.
Our immigration lawyers are active in the American
Immigration Lawyers Association. We are frequent speakers at local
and national immigration law seminars and have taught immigration
law at Seattle
University School of Law.
