PRACTICE EMPHASIS AND EXPERIENCE
Immigration Law
Amy handles a broad range of immigration matters. She assists large and small companies in bringing workers to the United States on a temporary and permanent basis. Amy has successfully prepared nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications for professionals, treaty traders and investors, multinational managers, researchers, entertainers and skilled workers. Amy has particular expertise in applying for temporary and permanent visas for artists, entertainers, and musicians, and recently assisted a production company in bringing its film crew to the United States for the filming of a major movie production.
Amy also assists individuals in sponsoring their family members to come to the United States. In addition, she has successfully represented clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Prior to her legal career, Amy worked in Washington, D.C. as a legislative aide to a U.S. Congressman and as the Development Director for a non-profit refugee advocacy organization.

PERSONAL
Prior to attending law school, Amy studied in Paris, France at the Institute of Political Studies and is proficient in French. Amy also worked in Washington, D.C. as a legislative aide to a U.S. Congressman and as the Development Director for a non-profit refugee advocacy organization.
Amy enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and downhill and cross-country skiing.
