State Supreme Court, 1984-85. Kay's practice is concentrated in
employment, discrimination, sexual harassment, civil rights and immigration.
Kay is a
member of the Washington Pattern Instructions Employment Law
Subcommittee. She has been the President of the Board of the Legal
Foundation of Washington from 2002 to the present, and was President of the American Civil
Liberties Union of Washington and Chair of the Young Lawyers
Division of the King County Bar Association. In 1997 Kay received
the Cynthia Gillespie Award from the Northwest Women's Law Center
to recognize her many contributions to advancing women's legal
rights and in 1983 was the first recipient of the King County
Domestic Violence Coalition Leadership Award. Kay is listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" in the field of employment
law and has an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
