A.B. Dartmouth 1939; L.L.B. Harvard Law School 1942. Ken has
engaged in a general practice since 1949, with a recent emphasis
on employment law. He has appeared before the United States
Supreme Court on labor and civil rights issues. He served as Chair
of the Washington State Human Rights Commission from 1962 to 1968.
He is a past President and board member of the American Civil
Liberties Union of Washington and taught at the Seattle University
School of Law for one term each year for nine years. He is an
immediate past member of the National Board of Trustees, Antioch
University, Yellow Springs, Ohio and a member of the Visiting
Committee of the School of Social Work at the University of
Washington.

A Scot in
battle dress and briefcase, Ken MacDonald is celebrated on his
birthday, October 30, 1983, with this drawing and a poem on the
