practices immigration law. As
the daughter of Tibetan immigrants, born in India
and raised in the
Virgin Islands, Tenzin brings a unique perspective to the firm.
She has a demonstrated interest in community service, which
she maintained during law school by serving as Co-Chair for the International
District Community Justice Center; as the Community Service Chair for the Asian Pacific Islander
Law Students Association; and by volunteering for various
service-oriented projects. As
a law student, Tenzin completed an internship with the Northwest
Immigrant Rights Project, where she assisted with the Asylum Unit
caseload and helped to successfully represent asylum applicants.
She also received the King County Bar Foundation Diversity
Scholarship. Prior to
attending law school, Tenzin taught English in Ilsan, South Korea. Tenzin is a member
of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
